In my career, I’ve worked with nonprofits, educational institutions, and private companies to create processes and drive communications for internal and external audiences.
I hold a Bachelor’s in International Business/Marketing as well as French. My professional journey hasn’t been linear (in a good way), each step adding to a diverse portfolio of skills and experiences to draw on.
In my communications career, I ran both the internal and external comms for a University-affiliated nonprofit, planning and executing social media, newsletters, donor communications, marketing, and print materials. I then shifted into internal communications with a growing technology company, coordinating department calendars to plan, design, and analyze company-wide content for HR, IT, operations, safety, and the executive teams. I authored web content in the form of press releases, case studies, and thought-leadership articles. Most drastically, I assisted in the crisis communications process as the company went through a difficult and public bankruptcy and sale.
Supporting my unique ability to adapt to any audience, I spent two years with the U.S. Peace Corps as an environmental education volunteer in Senegal, working in French and Wolof to assess local community needs, design programs, and execute environmental initiatives. I’ve also interned for an international nonprofit, working across borders and cultures.
I've owned the operational side of organizations, including analytics, reporting, and financial processes end to end. I understand how businesses run and use that knowledge to drive relevant and actionable messaging.
These diverse experiences speak to my adaptability and desire to grow, while helping me become the well-rounded communicator I’ve grown into. I have a particular interest in science communication: blending data and truth with empathy and emotion to drive understanding, motivate change, and inspire action.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me in the garden, on a run, dabbling in an art project, or hunting for cool bugs. I also serve on the board of a local neighborhood group, organized the construction of, and now steward, a community orchard, and volunteer with neighborhood tree planting efforts. Staying still has never been my strong suit and I’m always on the lookout for new things to learn and do.

What’s next?
I am transplanting to Vancouver, BC, spring of 2027 and will be eligible to work in both Canada and the U.S. I’m looking for roles with a mission-driven organization where I can put my skills to use. Get in touch if you want to chat about an opportunity for us to collaborate.
