My career has been a blend of communications and operations. In short, I figure out how things work, then help others understand and take action.

I’ve done this across industries and settings, including an environmental nonprofit, a growing tech and telecommunications company, a money-transfer giant, and the U.S. Peace Corps. The timeline below is a brief overview.

Off the clock

When I’m not working, you’ll find me in the garden, on a run, dabbling in an art project, or hunting for cool bugs. I serve on the board of a local neighborhood group, organized the construction of a community orchard that I now steward, and volunteer with neighborhood tree planting. Staying still has never been my strong suit and I’m always on the lookout for new things to learn and do.
